MEILLAND ROSE FARM
Meilland roses mainly come from France. Here, they are grown in 14 hectares of greenhouses and 240 hectares of field. The roses are stored in 20,000m3 of cold storage space. Besides France, Meilland roses also come from farms in other parts of the world, such as Spain, the Netherlands, the United States and Kenya. In fact, the special Princesse Charlene de Monaco rose variety is produced on the Tambuzi farm in Kenya.
This superb salmon-pink rose, which was dedicated to Princes Charlene of Monaco, has surprisingly few petals and a beautifully sweet and fruity fragrance.
By collaborating with agents and partners in more than 62 countries, roses from the Meilland farms have been tested in all types of climates. By doing so, Meilland roses bloom well in every climate, guaranteeing that they have a medium-long vase life no matter where they are bought.
