See below a great BBC Documentary from the end of may 2016 : The World’s Biggest Flower Market!

In this interesting documentary broadcasted by the BBC end of May 2016, you will get a closer look into the process of the world wide shipment of our roses. From the Tambuzi rose fields in Kenya, straight to the Wallstreet of flowers in Aalsmeer, and finally to your home; all in only 48 hours.

Cherry Healey and Simon Lycett tell the story in the ‘The World’s Biggest Flower Market’ of how the flowers you buy travel across the world via Aalsmeer Flower Auction in Holland to reach customers every day in pristine condition. They head all the way to Nanyuki, Kenya –the third largest producer of cut flowers in the world – to pay a visit to the Tambuzi rose gardens where a large part of our scented roses collection are grown. At the Tambuzi farm, situated in the foothills of Mount Kenya, you’ll find a versatile selection of the most luxurious scented roses, many of those being varieties of the famous David Austin Wedding Roses.
